Introduction

"I am a hopeful romantic who still believes in true love, and I have been blessed with the ability and joy of feeling emotions intensely, and I want to connect with someone on that higher level.
"A 30 minute face-to-face conversation is a 1000 times more effective in activating one's intuition than any amount of emails" Sunset on the beach, dining, wine...light hearted conversation, laughs, a chance to get to know you... or it would be great to go on a scuba dive or we could go kayaking or we could meet for a friendly game of tennis and if that works well then lunch or dinner...... (and maybe just a "practice" kiss smile.
So we are both looking to find that special someone who has eluded us all these years. It is not just about finding that special someone with all of the perfect qualities, or even being in the right place at the right time. It is two people coming together when each are open to a new relationship and are ready to experience personal growth by spending time together. The most exciting time in ones life is to find a connection that makes ones heart skip a beat when hearing the other's voice, and when time passes effortlessly in each other's company. Like the words from a song in The King and I that says, " our meetings are too few and over too soon".
One of my favorite lines in a romantic movie, As Good as it Gets, is when Jack Nicholson says to Helen Hunt, "You make me want to be a better man." Yes, I am looking for a best friend and someone special who moves me so much that it makes me want to be even a better man.
Instead of writing you a list of all my great qualities, trying to sell you on how Interesting, likable, adventurous, successful, financially secure, kind, healthy interests, active, religious and a giver I am (and I am all those things) I thought I would just tell you a bit about my life so far.
Life's peaks and valleys have taught me to be grateful for the many blessings that I enjoy every day and that we need strength for the days of adversity. I have embraced the motto of seize the day, and try to get the most out of life every day with a sense of gratitude that I am even here and have been able to enjoy all of the wonderful things that life has to offer.
Recent books I've read are Power of Intention/Dyer, Tipping Point, Blink and Outliers all by Gladwell, the Secret and the 5 love languages.
My favorite places are Sanctuary Belize, Belize, Crested Butte Colorado summers enjoying the flowers and clean cool mountain air and winters skiing.
The woman I would like to meet is young at heart, very playful, wants her romantic guy to be a best friend. She is happy, cheerful, attractive(especially inside), energetic, zany and silly at times. Giggles are great, she can make me laugh, and can appreciate and likes laughing at my quick with, one liners, and funny stories. Maybe she wants to run for political office-I can be her campaign adviser and the wind beneath her wings!??If you want to be spoiled, want your man to wrap you in his arms, hold you until you are one with him, gaze into your beautiful eyes until tomorrow, have romance and passion that you can't live without, share funny stories w/lots of laughs, make great stories in life, have adventure, travel, walk hand in hand..
