Introduction

I think I am a pretty even tempered person, I have a sense of humor, I am happy and financially independent. I own my own home. I am not looking for anyone to take care of me... I am doing fine, thanks. I have many interests... from decorating to Harley Davidson's. I love most music (not rap or polkas) but I do tend to break out in song if I hear something I really like. I like traveling, going to dinner, movies, comedy shows, nightclubs and casinos.... but I can also whip up an intimate dinner for 2, candlelight and all. I am picky, I am intelligent, I am a political and news junkie and I read a lot.

What would you like to do on a first date?

I think a short lunch or coffee date works for a first date. We need to know if we even like each other before we plan anything else.

Why you should get to know me:

People are not always what they appear to be on the outside. My shyness has often been mistaken for coldness or lack of interest. NOT TRUE. And you will never know that if you dismiss me because of what you think you sense.

What have past relationships taught you?

I have met some great people. Not everyone I have met turned out to be a match for me, but some very nice people have remained to be friends.

Describe some of the most important things in your life:

My family, my friends, My God... people I love. My home, the things I own that I need to take care of (my car and yes, even my cat)

Describe your perfect day:

Sleeping in... Reading the paper in bed. A drive to somewhere interesting and fun. with someone interesting and fun. Maybe we could find one of those little fairs because I love the tilt-o-whirl. A great steak dinner, a movie or a nightclub.

One final thing I'd like to mention...

I am very content and happy. I do not need a man in my life... but it would be nice to have a special guy that can make my toes curl... I want to have those goose bumps when I see him again or hear his voice. He has got to be a fantastic kisser and cuddlier, hand holding and whispering in my ear are a must.
