A first date with a new match would require meeting my date at a designated spot for coffee, a drink, lunch or dinner. I would need to feel that my surroundings were safe. Future dates could include mutual likes or dislikes... and/or trying something totally ne3w.

You should get to know me because pictures and short paragraphs are superficial. I'm much more than can be contained in a short questionnaire. I believe that we are shaped by our genetics, our parents, education, reading, ... many, many other things, but mostly by our experiences and the people that we interact with in life. Most of all, one's personal approach to life... positive or negative ... puts all of the above in perspective.

Past relationships? Do you mean the clerk at the supermarket or the loves of our lives. Everyone has something to teach us. I've seen enduring relationships that I believe are based upon highly valued personal traits: Honesty, integrity, kindness, politeness, compromise, empathy... you've heard them before. Relationships aren't 50/50... they are 100%/100%.

Family, perspective, belief in a God, understanding, compassion, giving more than one (perceives) that they have received. Take a look at the answer above and multiply it by a billion.

Being with and enjoying the most important people in one's life. Knowing that you are accepted and loved for who you are; not who you think they perceive you to be. Being at peace with oneself and with those you love around you. Hoping (and caring) that when the day ends that all will be well, and a tomorrow will be another bright and beautiful day.

A relationship takes time. But there isn't always a lot of time in life ahead of us. People should be honest; no game playing... and then see where life leads them. Pictures are, indeed, worth a thousand words. If an individual doesn't post a picture, then I really don't think that they are seriously looking for a relationship; or they are hiding something. However, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
