I'm somewhat quiet by nature and easy-going person. I believe in loyalty. Love family, meeting good people. Enjoy being active and doing enjoyable things. I am a follower of Christ and He is very important in my life. I try to attend church weekly. Retired for four years. Looking forward to doing things I didn't get to do when working. I believe in being patient within reason, time is valuable. Enjoy traveling, taking in local attractions and events. I would like to meet just one genuine for real gentleman, single, divorced, or widowed, a man who has love in his heart, trustworthy, kind, unbiased, has a relaxed drama-free lifestyle. Someone who wants to build a relationship. Doesn't mind attending church. Someone who wants to enjoy life during these maturing years. I'm looking forward to my latter days being greater than my former days. I would like to meet someone who I would want to spend the rest of my life with.

What would you like to do on a first date?

Meet and get to know the person, get acquainted. Meet at a public location, Starbuck's, Tim Horton's or wherever we decide. A first date could be wherever the gentleman decides or whatever we both decide upon.

Why you should get to know me:

I am a good person, kind, considerate, good listener and willing to help when there's a concern. Like getting to know positive people, enjoy having fun-do fun things and communicate when you need someone to talk to. Sharing some not too personal life experiences can sometimes be a good opener and ice-breaker to get acquainted and get to know one another.

What have past relationships taught you?

Be patient. Although being or having patience doesn't mean waiting for ever, this time in life the days are valuable. Be non-judging. But sometimes, taking a person on face-value could be a sign of precaution of a persons true character or an indicator of a good person. Knowing what good values and qualities a person has is important to me. Time, I've found, brings you closer to getting to know who a person is or isn't. Also knowing we are not perfect beings. Knowing how to forgive and continue on with being happy.

Describe some of the most important things in your life:

God. My family-children, grandchildren. Being happy to me is one of life's greatest rewards.

Describe your perfect day:

Waking up, getting out of bed feeling good, ready to start my day, and giving God thanks for another day.

One final thing I'd like to mention...

Life is shorter than we think. Try to uplift someone if I see the need. I've had down times in past years and many times no one was there to lift me but my children and having faith in God and knowing that He is the one carrying me through.
