Relatively new to the area having lived in the proximity of NYC all my life. Difficult to leave, but family lives here.

Worked as a guidance counselor and school psychologist for many years before opening my own real estate office. Miss working!
Entertaining is a pleasure. Love to cook & bake, but also enjoy dining out. Live theatre is a favorite as well as concerts, reading and listening to various kinds of music.
Tennis was my sport, but regret now I can only watch. Soccer was my second favorite sport & played right inner in college all four years.
Love animals(particularly dogs) & involve myself in charitable events whenever possible. Can't imagine life without a pet!
Fortunate to have travelled and seen a great
deal of the world. Italy my favorite country because of the diversification it offers.

What would you like to do on a first date?
I would like to go for lunch to a pleasant restaurant with quiet atmosphere so one can have a good conversation.
Why you should get to know me:
Am considered by others (or so I have been told) to be an intelligent person who has had many interesting life experiences. Am a good conversationalist and fun to be with. I also have a keen sense of humor.
What have past relationships taught you?
There must be honesty and openess between two people. Sharing and enjoying experiences together makes for a congenial situation and affords happiness.
Describe some of the most important things in your life:
My children, my grandchildren, my dog, being healthy, being financially comfortable and able to do the things I enjoy.
Describe your perfect day:
Seeing something new and interesting which would give me a sensation of fun and pleasure. This could be sightseeing in a city, or driving to the mountains and viewing the beautiful scenery, or visiting a new museum. It's a wide open field for me which is hard to pinpoint.
One final thing I'd like to mention...
I really have no difficulty with words or expressing myself, but writing more here would take lots of additional time and introspection. Prefer you ask and I shall respond as best I can.
