The first meeting shouldn't classify as a date - just coffee or lunch. The first actual date would depend on what the two of us decide. It could maybe be a movie or a play &/or a casual dinner.

I have learned that one needs to live life minute by minute.I think that one should not expect too much or too little in advance from any situation but take it as it comes, experience it, and not judge. People are interesting, each in his or her own way.Also,I've learned to be more open about what I want rather than always defer to another's wishes.

My children and two grandchildren rank right up there at the top of importance. My dog is my companion and friend. Traveling and seeing new places, especially of historical interest, are important.

A perfect day for me would be a drive to a nearby small town that has places to visit such as a local historical or art museum or antique malls or gardens and to explore the town, have a leisurely late lunch at a local restaurant either outside or inside and a drive home by a different route if available.

I'm not into many sports. I watch some baseball. I like to go to baseball games a couple of times a season if the seats are good. I do like horse races.
