Introduction

Those who know me best would say I'm positive, outgoing, unpretentious, witty, intelligent, virtuous, humble and a gentleman. I'm always generous, thoughtful and love to spoil. Keeping fit physically, emotionally and spiritually is a daily goal. I was raised by great parents , embrace my Norwegian roots and values, still believe in love and have more than enough to share for a lifetime. I sleep well every night feeling that life is good and God is good to me.

I often get asked why I've never find the right woman and the fact is it's never been about a lack of desire or effort. I've always been marriage-minded and have been in several long term relationships including an engagement but in the end the match wasn't truly compatible and we parted ways. Finding a lifelong partner, friend and lover isn't and shouldn't be simple and easy. And while I set the bar high I don't believe it's unreachable and I remain positive that one day the search will be over and worth it all in the end. As far as children go I still dream of my own DNA entering the world but can accept what's given or not given with respect to the woman I meet and the reality of the situation.

As much as my interests define me some of them include: music (DMB, U2, Norah Jones, John Mayer, Jimmy Buffett, anything 80s, jazz, reggae), old movies, biking, hiking, writing, singing, sailing, rollerblading, kayaking, photography, sweets, seafood, sushi, out-of-the-dryer high thread count sheets, a new cologne, a summer tan, my Reef flip flops, boxers not briefs, a fat glass of cabernet. I tell a great joke and have a well-defined sense of humor (think Python, Simpsons, Jim Carrey, The Office).

Enough about me. YOU are a woman who is honest, unselfish and who can enhance my life experience and be a friend and companion. You're open-minded, have a sense of humor and can make life fun in the midst of the struggles it brings. I'm attracted to intelligence, maturity, creativity, sensuality and the ability to be expressive no matter what your mood. You take care of yourself in body, mind and spirit - a balanced approach. A strong physical and sexual connection with intimacy, romance and great passion is also important to me and a big part of a healthy and long lasting relationship.
