I am not into writing essays unless I am taking an English composition class and I did that in high school and college and don't really feel I have to prove that now. I am college educated and know how to write, spell and compose. I would like a first meeting(at this stage in my life I prefer to omit the word "date") to be casual, not "stuffy"(I have been literally left at a meeting place and the "date" decided he had to leave). Rather rude on his part and no reason for it. I also don't want a meeting to be one of "the date didn't feel a connection." Possibly a movie, dinner(we should each pay), a walk through the Heritage Trails(the weather is getting better) although we will have to deal with the 6 more weeks of winter and simply talking about nothing in particular. I love "muscle cars" and all the shows. I also love the beach.

I do not bite, am very easy going, casual(I am not the very formal type in general but do like to go somewhere "dressy" at times). I have a tendency to be on the quiet side, I keep my emotions in check for the most part. The only time I take exception to that is when the conversation turns to my youngest son who is stationed in Germany at this time. I tend to become somewhat emotional then. I show an interest in what "you" do, your likes and dislikes, and about your life and family.

Not everything is as it seems. There is always another side to things, life does not always have to be "down" as this can become extremely depressing not only on the adults but on the children. There is a way to show the positive side to life. The only past relationship I was in was the person I ended up marrying.

My children always come first. They mean everything to me and as my youngest son and I are probably the closest I am always thinking of him being 7,000 miles away and miss him terribly. It is important that they strive to be the best they possibly can and to assist them with their self esteem whenever possible.

Being able to have a good workout, walk or run. Being able to accomplish what I set out to do for the day or the week.

I am a devote animal lover be it cats, dogs or horses. I grew up and owned all of them at various times. As my oldest dog is now 13 and that I would like to give back to those soldiers who are out there protecting all of us, my next dog will be an adopted Retired Military Working Dog.
