I enjoy most types of fun activities, adventures and exploring places, cutting loose going out dining and dancing or to my favorite pub listening to jazz or poetry, weekend trips, grilling in the backyard, spending quiet times together watching movies, cozy fireside conversations and a nice wine talking with my guy.

At this stage in life I look to add quality to my life so I have prescribed to reasonably high standards and won't compromise them. I am I think different than many women in a few ways perhaps because of my background.

What I'm hoping is to begin by establishing a genuine friendship first. Let's talk, let's get together regularly to learn about each other. If in time there's a genuine connection and physical chemistry perhaps we may consider cultivating those feelings into a mutually meaningful and long term relationship. One thing I've learned from experience is that pushing for or rushing into a relationship based purely on physical attraction hardly ever results in a lasting outcome or anything of substance. Don't misunderstand physical attraction and passion are extremely important to me but this alone is not everything in a meaningful relationship. Being older and wiser I won't be rushing into this situation again.
I believe that if we find that we share similar values, interests and activities, can talk openly, honestly and tactfully with each other, respect, trust and treat each other well with kindness, patience and understanding and share a mutual physical attraction/passion for one another how could we not grow into and maintain a strong, interesting and loving long term relationship?

I'm close to my family. I am loyal and committed to my family and those I love. But I desire a male friend and companion, a true gentleman that is looking for one special lady to make his own.

My perfect day would be one in which you would come pick me up on your motorcycle and we'd just ride until we felt like stopping maybe in some small quaint little town, walk around, window shop and eat before heading home.......or

We'd take the same ride in a car so I could take my dog and yours if you have one. We could spend the day at Kensington or Stony Creek Park, a picnic basket full of food and a small cooler with wine or beer, and a blanket and radio, do a bit of fishing. Before we leave we'd pack up everything then take a walk for a while then head home......or

Be surrounded by our families, everyone I love and that you love. A backyard picnic or at the park grilling meat, fish, corn and fried turkey, good food and desserts, good drinks, making home made ice cream, grand kids playing laughing maybe running through the sprinkler, good music, folks laughing, talking, somebody taking pictures/videos.

I am grateful for...... my God being with me, His daily gifts of life, health of myself, my Mom and family, my dog, for my home, that my needs are covered, His gracious care of me and everyone I love. I'm missing companionship but I know that will come in time. So patience, possessing a secret knowledge ( I think Mona Lisa smile because I know he is out there somewhere and worth the wait. ). These blessings make me smile.

I do so enjoy a good belly laugh.....a funny movie, good comedians jokes on tv or at a comedy club make me smile too.

I desire to meet a man with values and likes similar to what I've mentioned here as well as some of his own. The best way to get to know someone and for them to know you is to actually to talk with and invest some time being with them so a long distance or out of state relationship wouldn't really work, I've been down that path before and it's not for me.
